Taskinator Pty Ltd — Privacy Policy
Taskinator Pty Ltd (ACN 666 134 103) (we, us or our) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information. It applies to all personal information we handle, whether we collect it through our website, in person, or through other means.

Information we collect
General information
Identity and contact details
- Name, date of birth, address, email address and phone number
Specific information we collect where you are a user of InClub
Service related information
- Content you post on InClub such as photos, posts and comments
- Order line items (product, quantity, price tier) and your Shopify customer ID notified to us by a brand's Shopify when you purchase from a brand whose community you have joined: used only to award badges and points. We do not receive your card or payment details, full purchase history, lifetime value, address, or total spend
- Your preferences for our services and your marketing preferences
- Feedback and survey responses
- Age-check signals (facial recognition technology captures and processes your image momentarily to estimate and verify your age. Your image is held only for the duration of the check and is instantly deleted once complete; it is never written to our storage and we do not store a face template, an embedding, or any biometric identifier. We retain only the derived signals on your account: a verification session reference, the liveness (real-person) confidence score, the estimated age range, and a timestamp)
- Customer matching results (when a brand connects its Shopify store to InClub, we compare their customer email addresses against your InClub email address in memory to check if you are an existing customer. We do not store the brand's customer emails. We retain only the match result to recommend relevant communities to you in-app)
Digital information
- IP address and general location information derived from your IP address
- Mobile-app crash diagnostics such as stack trace, device model, OS version, app version, free memory/disk, and a randomly-generated install identifier that is not linked to your InClub account

- Professional experience
- Required authorisations and licences
- Professional registrations

Sensitive information
We handle sensitive information with extra care and protection, and we only collect this information with your consent or when legally permitted. This includes biometric information. Additional information about our disclosures to brands where you are a user of InClub
If you are a user of InClub, we only share your data with a brand whose community you have voluntarily chosen to join, and never with a brand you have not actively engaged with. When you join a brand's community, we share the following with that brand's Shopify customer database:
- your email address
- your first name
- your last name
If no customer record exists for your email address, we create one using these three fields. If a record already exists because you have previously shopped with that brand, we do not overwrite your existing name on their side.
If you take further actions inside the community, we may also tag the following additional information on your Shopify customer record on that brand's side:
- interest tags, when you select your interests
- badge and tier tags, as you earn them
- your marketing-consent state, but only if you opt in to that brand's marketing
We will never share with a brand your posts, comments, reactions, polls, profile photo, date of birth, age-verification result, payment data, device data, engagement data, or any information about other communities you belong to.
Brand admins of a community you have joined can view your member profile inside the InClub app, including your first name, last name, avatar, badges, and any profile fields you have completed. They cannot see your activity in other communities or any data outside that community.
Overseas disclosure
Storage and access
We store your personal information in Australia. However, your information may be accessed from or transferred to locations outside Australia in these circumstances:
- When our service providers are located overseas
- When we work with overseas business partners

Our approach to overseas disclosure
Before disclosing your personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient treats your information in accordance with applicable law by only sending what is necessary, requiring recipients to protect your information through contractual agreements which require the recipient to comply with the privacy standards in applicable law or through other mechanisms that provide comparable safeguards and by monitoring how recipients handle your information.
Your privacy rights and choices
Providing information
You can choose whether to provide personal information to us, however, if you don't provide certain information, we may not be able to provide some services. Let us know if you don't want to provide information and we will let you know when information is required versus optional.

Where you are a user of InClub
When you confirm a deletion request, your access is revoked immediately and your data is removed from our active database with no grace period. Large accounts may take a short time to finish erasing in the background; your account is inaccessible from the moment you confirm. Your posts, comments, reactions and uploaded media are permanently deleted — not anonymised. Your profile data, avatar, contact details, purchase records on our side, point history and push tokens are deleted.
If you own an active community, you will need to reassign or close it before deleting your account.
What may remain on InClub
- Other members' posts. If another member has @mentioned you by name, we cannot remove your name from their post, but we will remove the link to your profile.
- We may retain a limited amount of information where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims — for example where content or an account has been the subject of a safety report or enforcement action, or a law-enforcement or regulator's request. Any retained information is held only for those purposes with restricted access, and is deleted once the purpose no longer applies.
Deletion propagates through our encrypted backups within 14 days (the maximum age of any backup).
